Beginning next month, JIC will be accepting registration from JA Retail Members to participate in its Second Annual Ultimate Proposal Contest. The Contest, running from April 4-June 20, 2011, asks consumers to share their proposal stories online at www.JIC.org. The first Ultimate Proposal Contest debuted in February 2010.
New this year! Any retailer who registers to participate in the Contest from February 15 to March 15 will be entered to win an iPad, courtesy of GE Money.
The Contest offers amazing prizes for participating consumers, the Participating Retailers and their sales staff. Participating Retailers have the chance to win a trip for two to New York to attend JIC's 2012 GEM Awards, courtesy of GE Money. Plus, each week, the sales associate who refers the most stories will receive a $50 Visa Gift Card, courtesy of GE Money.
The winning couple who enters their "ultimate proposal story" will win a Grand-Prize package that includes a 7-night Eastern or Western Caribbean cruise for two on Norwegian Cruise Line, courtesy of CMC-Meridain, and platinum and diamond bands from Tacori, courtesy of Platinum Guild International.
Who Can Register to Be a Participating Retailer?
Jewelers of America Members have the exclusive opportunity to participate in Jewelry Information Center's consumer contests, and leverage the national contest promotion to develop life-long customers. Each contest is more successful than the last, with JIC's fall contest -- Gems Among Us -- attracting nearly 10,000 votes, 700 contest entries and more than 130 Participating Retailers.
