The Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS) continues to debate the status of exports from the Marange region of Zimbabwe. Shipments of these diamonds were initially suspended after the 2009 KP Plenary. Jewelers of America believes this suspension should remain in place and must be adhered to by KP participants until further notice.
