Jewelers of America recently launched a comprehensive online guide to its Code of Professional Practices, titled “Cracking the Code: A Guide to Jewelers of America’s Code of Professional Practices.” It shows JA Members how to use JA’s Code of Professional Practices to build their business and increase profitability, customer satisfaction and customer retention. The guide is part of the JA’s new eLearning Center at www.jewelers.org/elearning/.

For jewelry sales professionals, there are a lot of routes to achieve this, and it doesn't have to involve the cost or commitment of going back to school. Many industry associations offer product-specific courses that you can complete on your own time, such as Diamond Council of America's Advanced Jewelry Sales, Colored Gemstones and Diamond courses or Jewelers of America's Jewelry 101 training program.
